Brief – Provide high quality decant classroom facilities, a kitchen and refectory building incorporating  staff rooms & toilet facilities, an additional double storey classroom facilitiy and a nursery building meeting all appropriate building regulations for the college students during the main college reconstruction.

Total Floor Area Required – Main Building 9000 Sq Ft / Classroom Block 1920 Sq Ft / Nursery Block 3300 Sq Ft

Solution – Sibcas Permaspace was chosen for both the main building decant classroom block (2 storey) due to its flexibility and high spec. The building includes the latest in innovative designs for lighting, temperature control, ventilation and high specification data installation. The nature of the build type meant we were able to pass on a significant saving to the client by using our innovative timber baulk foundation detail. No concrete foundations were needed for the single storey buildings, which meant construction costs and reinstatement costs were greatly reduced.
